USI supplies ceramic embedded rubber or urethane sand screw shoes to protect sand classifier flights in washed sand production. High quality abrasion resistant ceramic cylinders are embedded into thick rubber and fused to a full metal backing plate. Our premium urethane shoe is a cost-effective alternative to metal shoes. While providing cost-saving performance, the urethane shoes from USI exceed the industry norm in wear life. Our standard shoe is 1″ thick with an additional 1/4″ lip along the top wear area.
